Festival Gala & Live Auction: An Unforgettable Evening of Giving
The 41st annual Holiday Festival at Torrance Memorial Medical Center culminated in the elegant Festival Gala on December 6, 2024. Hosted in a stunning 23,000-square-foot tent on the hospital’s campus, this magical evening brought together community leaders, donors, and supporters for gourmet dining, live and silent auctions, and a showcase of 32 intricately decorated holiday trees.
The event raised an incredible $2.1 million to support the hospital’s Emergency Department expansion, furthering Torrance Memorial’s mission to provide exceptional care for the South Bay. A highlight of the evening was the announcement of a transformative $21.8 million gift from Mary Tu, marking a historic moment in the hospital’s commitment to healthcare excellence.
